full moonlight sail, August 2016

What's the Gordon family up to?  Check out our Blog.

Welcome to Amicus Adventure Sailing!  We are a family-owned charter sailing business on Lake Superior's north shore.

We do different types of sailing for all types of people.  Day sails on glassy seas, group excursions, romantic anniversary sails, corporate team-building days, family overnights, heavy weather sailing, Isle Royale circumnavigation--whatever your comfort level, skills, age, and abilities, we have something for you.    We are available  year -round.  Call or email us!  We'd love to make your sailing dreams happen.

1. UPDATE 9/18:  Fall has arrived!  With it come the gorgeous fall colors.   Due to Amicus II's travel up around Isle Royale and some adverse winds for returning, we will not be resuming day sails until Friday, September 23.  We will be scheduling sails through Friday, October 14 and possibly the 3rd week in October as well.  The more flexible you can be with date and times, the more likely we are to get out there.  At this time of year, crisp fall breezes are what we aim for, rather than the heavier winds not appropriate to day sails.  When it works, fall sailing is a great favorite so don't hesitate to schedule something--just be aware that more sails are postponed and cancelled.

2. We have some NEW DEALS this year.  Check out our Special Deals Page  to learn if you are a Local, a Loyal Fan or perhaps a Loyal Ambassador!  Also Check out the Day sails page--we have an evening wine-and-cheese deal, moonlight sails, and a full-day sail to Two Harbors, MN.

3. Give a experience of a lifetime!  Perfect for people who are difficult to buy for,  Gift Certificates are available year-round and can be redeemed anytime; the gift recipients schedules the sail at their convenience.

4. Thinking about a multi-day sail with us?  Check out the North House Folk School Catalog for next year's trips.  Think ahead--they fill quickly!

Overnights--call us directly.  We continue to schedule trips according to need so don't assume everything is full.

  5.  Follow us on our blog to learn more about what we do.  Feedback, commentary, and just plain reflections are always welcome on our Facebook page or via personal email
